PDE is pleased to announce, on behalf of S Walsh and Sons Limited, the grant of planning permission by Kent County Council to secure the appropriate restoration of Stone Pit 1 through the importation of around 490,000m3 of inert engineering materials and soils across 18.7ha of the site with the potential for longer term public access, amenity and ecological benefits.
The grant of planning permission follows the submission of a detailed planning application at the end of February 2013.
