PDE is pleased to report that the Environment Agency (EA) have confirmed that they agree that the importation of 200,000m³ of inert material in order to provide a platform for future port related development at Dock Road, Tilbury is a recovery operation.
The news follows the submission to the EA by PDE of a Waste Recovery Plan (WRP) proposing the importation of restoration materials to the site.
Work will now commence on the preparation of an Environmental Permit application which will be submitted to the EA in due course.
