PDE is pleased to announce, on behalf of Symonds Farm Power Limited, that Suffolk County Council have recently validated a planning application seeking an extension to the existing Anaerobic Digestion and Combined Heat and Power Facility at Symonds Farm in Suffolk. The extension to the existing facility will comprise a Waste Reception Building for acceptance and processing of bio-degradable waste to be utilised within the Anaerobic Digestion process, as well as additional storage and digestion facilities.
This will enable the facility to accept a greater range of wastes and secure a sustainable source of renewable energy for the farm as well as the wider area into the future.
