PDE Consulting Limited recently submitted a planning application to Suffolk County Council on behalf of Breedon Southern Limited in respect of their operations at Cavenham Quarry, Cavenham, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The application seeks to enable the variation of conditions 1 and 2 attached to planning permission reference F/15/0110 to allow for the retention and operation of the asphalt plant and associated infrastructure until 31 December 2024 and restoration of the land by 31 December 2026.
The application was validated on 12 October 2020. Should planning permission be granted, it will enable the continued use of the asphalt plant up to the current operational end date for the wider Cavenham Quarry complex.
