On behalf of SRC Aggregates, PDE submitted a Part B permit application to Tendring District Council for a concrete batching plant located at Ardleigh Reservoir, Crown Quarry, Essex. Environmental Protection Officer Andy Rutson-Edwards commented as follows on the submitted documentation:
“It’s the best application for a new permit I have had in the past 10 years”.
Following a site visit by the Council, the permit was issued without delay.
