PDE are pleased to announce, on behalf of Ayton Products Limited, that the Environment Agency (EA) have deemed an application duly made for the surrender of the environmental permit for Hainford landfill site.
The site is in aftercare and the results of routine gas and groundwater monitoring suggest that the site can meet the EA’s surrender criteria. The application is for a standard surrender because, as the site accepted pre Landfill Directive inert wastes, it is not possible to meet the less onerous criteria to adopt a low risk position.
