PDE are pleased to announce on behalf of Breheny Civil Engineering Ltd, that an application has been submitted to Suffolk County Council to allow the construction of a borrow pit/tip for the extraction of aggregates and subsequent backfilling of the void space together with access, to be used in conjunction with the Bury St Edmunds Eastern Relief Road on land within Rougham Airfield, Bury St Edmunds. Suffolk.
The construction of the Eastern Relief Road has commenced and requires a significant amount of aggregates to be imported for construction works to be completed.
The Proposed Development will ultimately provide much needed aggregates to the construction of the Eastern Relief Road and also reduce the amount of vehicles on the local highway network that would be required to import the aggregates and also remove the surplus materials from the development area.
PDE looks forward to continuing to work with Breheny Civil Engineering Limited in the future.
