PDE has submitted a planning application to Suffolk County Council to extend Brett Aggregates Shrubland Quarry in Suffolk.
The submission comprises a planning application for a western extension to the existing quarry and for restoration utilising imported inert materials. In addition planning applications are submitted to amend a number of planning permissions on the existing site to assist in the development of the proposed extension.
Accompanying the submission is an extensive environmental statement drawn together by PDE with input from a variety of well established technical consultants.
The planning application is currently being determined by the county council with determination anticipated in Summer 2013.
