Planning Application – Stone Pit 1, Kent

PDE is pleased to be working with S Walsh and Sons Limited to secure the appropriate restoration of Stone Pit 1 in Kent through the importation of around 490,000m3 of inert engineering materials and soils across 18.7ha of the site with the potential for longer term public access, amenity and ecological benefits.  PDE was appointed to prepare a full planning application for the proposals in liaison with a team of external consultants. The planning application is currently being considered by Kent County Council following submission at the end of February 2013.
