PDE are pleased to announce, on behalf of Land Logical Limited, that the Environment Agency have Duly Made an application for a waste recovery permit for Stone Pit 1 in Dartford, Kent.
Prior to submission of the environmental permit application, PDE submitted a Waste Recovery Plan to the Environment Agency and they responded to say that they agreed with our assessment that the proposed activity is a waste recovery operation. The proposed activity comprises the importation of approximately 490,000m3 of inert wastes to correct problems associated with differential settlement at this historic landfill site.
PDE looks forward to continuing to work with Land Logical Limited with respect to their operations at Stone Pit 1.
