PDE recently submitted a planning application to Suffolk County Council (SCC) on behalf of Shotley Holdings Limited for the removal of Condition 19 attached to planning permission reference SCC/0091/17B; SCC/0092/17B; SCC/0093/17B relating to operations at Folly Farm, Tattingstone, Ipswich, IP9 2DB.
Planning permission was granted by SCC on 28 February 2023.
The grant of planning permission is great news for Shotley Holdings Limited as previously Condition 19 placed a restriction on the use of mobile plant within certain areas of the Site. The removal of Condition 19 enables greater flexibility within the consented mineral extraction and restoration area, allowing mobile plant be moved around the Site to the areas where it is required, reducing the need to transport materials around the Site and increasing the efficiency of operations.
