At the end of January PDE announced that an application prepared on behalf of Breedon Southern Limited for the erection and use of a concrete batching plant and associated infrastructure on land at Rush Green Motors, Hertfordshire had been resolved to grant by North Hertfordshire District Council’s Planning Control Committee. Following resolution to grant, the application was passed to the Secretary of State for Planning to determine whether or not the application should be called-in.
We are delighted to announce that the Secretary of State has agreed with the decision made by the Planning Control Committee that planning permission should be granted subject to conditions.
This is great news for Breedon Southern Limited as it will enable them to alleviate the strain left within the local construction market following the closure in 2016 of their old plant based nearby in Stevenage. By picking up their previous customer base Breedon will be able to support local construction projects well into the future.
